A few years ago, I met a gentleman at an open house right in their current neighborhood. Funny enough, he had a real estate license himself but still wanted expert representation. The very next day, his wife called me, and before long we were out touring homes together. With this one, we went back several times—each visit confirming it was the right fit—until suddenly, voilà, we found ourselves in a competitive situation with multiple interested buyers.
Despite the competition, I was able to negotiate strong terms that set them apart and protected their interests. About a month later, they were holding the keys to their new home, and their son had already claimed the backyard as his own personal kingdom. Moments like that are exactly why I love what I do.
