In 2017, I was hosting an open house in Chula Vista when a couple walked in with their two adorable young children. They had been searching for a home for a couple of years without much luck. After connecting that day, I reached out and soon we were touring homes together. Over a few weekends, we explored different areas until they found the perfect fit in Cherokee Point, North Park, and we closed on their starter home.
We stayed in touch, and a few years later they reached out again—it was time to move on, as they had outgrown their home. I listed and sold their North Park property and helped them find a new home in National City to be closer to family. I negotiated strong terms on their replacement property, structured the sale as a contingent offer, and coordinated a smooth concurrent closing. While it wasn’t the easiest transaction, staying calm under pressure and always putting my clients’ best interests first is at the core of how I work.
